Terms of Service
By using SHPEEL you agree to these terms. SHPEEL is operated by SoulToSoul. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.
1. What SHPEEL is
SHPEEL hosts fifteen-second videos and routes interested viewers to a seller’s own link. That’s all it does. There is no checkout, no escrow, no shipping, no refunds handled here.
SHPEEL is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller. Sellers are solely responsible for their offers, their links, their claims and their fulfilment. Buyers transact at their own risk on third-party sites.
2. Your account
You need a working phone number and you must be 17 or older. One human, one account. You are responsible for what happens under it. We can suspend or ban an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines.
Connect is 18+. Connect is the part of SHPEEL where you say what you’re up for and meet people who answer. We ask for your date of birth the first time you open it, and you can answer once. Everything else — watching, recording, replying — is open to anyone 17 or older.
Meeting someone you met here is your decision and your risk. We don’t verify who anyone is beyond a phone number and the video they recorded of themselves. Tell someone where you’re going, meet somewhere public, and leave if it feels wrong.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of your video. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, stream, thumbnail and display it inside SHPEEL and on shpeel.me share pages, for as long as your listing is live, plus the short window it takes to purge backups after deletion.
You confirm that:
- You are the person in the video.
- It was recorded live in the app and hasn’t been edited, trimmed or filtered.
- You have the right to sell what you’re pitching.
- It doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights, including music rights.
4. What isn’t allowed
The prohibitions in the Community Guidelines are part of these terms, including adult content, weapons, drugs, gambling, counterfeit goods, financial scams, MLM recruitment, and any video where the presenter isn’t the account holder.
5. Links
Destination links must be https://, must resolve, and must go where you said they go. We check them when you publish and again whenever you edit one. Pointing a verified listing at something else afterwards is grounds for immediate removal and a ban.
6. Moderation
Every Shpeel is checked automatically before it goes live. Any user can report a Shpeel; three distinct reports hide it pending review. Any user can block a seller. We may remove content or accounts at our discretion where these terms or the guidelines are broken. You can appeal to hey@shpeel.me.
7. Ranking, and what money doesn’t buy
The feed is ordered by recency and locality. Payment never changes ranking: not one position, not one impression. Any paid tier sells capacity and insight, never visibility.
8. Paid features
Where a subscription exists, it is billed through Apple under Apple’s terms and renews until cancelled in your App Store settings. If it lapses, extra listings beyond your first are paused rather than deleted.
9. Availability and liability
SHPEEL is provided as-is. We don’t promise uninterrupted service, particular traffic volumes, or any sales result. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens on a seller’s own site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including your statutory consumer rights in the EU.
10. Ending it
Delete your account whenever you like, from Settings. We can terminate an account for breach. The licence in section 3 ends when your content is deleted.
11. Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
