Questions we get

Can I upload a video I already made?
No. You record every Shpeel live in the app camera. There’s no gallery import or share sheet.
Can I edit or trim it?
No. Retake as often as you like before you publish. What you publish is one continuous take, with no edits.
My Shpeel was rejected. Now what?
We tell you why, and you can record a new one straight away. If you think the call was wrong, email us and a human will look.
How do I know my Shpeel sent anyone anywhere?
Every outbound click carries utm_source=shpeel&utm_medium=swipe, so you can find it in your own analytics. We don’t charge for that traffic.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. We delete your Shpeels, your videos and your phone number. You can’t undo it.
Does paying get me more views?
No. The feed ranks by how new a Shpeel is, where it is and who each viewer saves. Money doesn’t change it.
What does "Paid partnership" on a Shpeel mean?
The person selling it is a creator paid a commission by the brand when it sells. The law says that has to be clear, so every one of those Shpeels says so.
